69xx IP Phone Status Indicators

Keys on 69xx IP Phones do not have LEDs. Instead, color in combination with flash rates are used to convey call and feature states.

Line Keys

NOTE: This page covers status indicators on the 6920, 6930 and 6940 IP Phones only; for information about status indicators on the 6910 IP Phone, see Busy Lamp Field Indication.

Includes Multicall, Key System, Single Line, Mobile Line, Secretarial and DSS/BLF, where the indicator is related to the STATE of the line.

  1. Prime Line is Button 1 on the display and may be Single, Multicall, or Keyline.

  2. Line includes Single, Multicall or Key System

  3. DSS/BLF also includes Secretarial Key.

  4. Ringing Flash Rate is 500 ms on, 500 ms off.

  5. Ongoing Call when MdUG is busy and calls answered on Mobile rate will be 1000ms on, 1000 ms off

  6. Hold Flash Rate will be 250 ms on, 250 ms off..

  7. Applies to Key System lines where someone else is using the line and they have been put on hold.

  8. Out of Service includes logged out hot desk users and paired Mobile Lines that are out of range.

  9. Redundant for the prime line since indicator provided in status bar. Line and DSS/BLF support is configurable (COS/System Option)

Feature Access Keys

Status indicators associated with feature access keys behave in one of six ways depending on the feature and its state (On or Off):

  1. No status indicator, they are always OFF.

  2. Off and Solid ON

  3. Off and slow flash (SF)

  4. Off and On and slow flash (SF)

  5. Off and On and fast flash (FF)

  6. Off, On, slow flash (SF) and fast flash (FF)
